Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms govern use of the Stardust platform and services operated by Stardust Care LLC (“Stardust,” “we,” “us”), including app.stardust.care. By using the services, you agree to these terms. Funeral homes using Stardust may have separate service agreements with us; families and visitors use the platform under these terms.

The service

Stardust provides case-management, communication, payment, and memorial tools for funeral homes and the families they serve. Features and availability may change as the service evolves.

Text messaging program

By opting in to SMS through a funeral home using Stardust, you agree to receive text messages related to your case and, where you have consented, informational or marketing messages from that funeral home. Message frequency varies based on case activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Payments

Payments made through the platform are processed by Stripe on behalf of the funeral home serving you. Payment terms for services are set by the funeral home; questions about charges should be directed to them.

Content and conduct

You are responsible for content you submit, including memorial contributions. You agree not to upload unlawful content or misuse the service. Funeral homes and families may moderate memorial content per the platform’s tools.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stardust Care LLC’s liability arising from use of the service is limited to the amount paid to us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
